New Hampshire's Advanced Manufacturing Partnerships in Education (AMPed NH) unites all seven of NH's community colleges with more than 200 advanced manufacturing industry partners, city and state agencies to offer industry-approved training and education programs designed to deliver seamless transitions from classroom to career in high-tech, high-demand, high-paying advanced manufacturing. AMPed NH has redefined industry education at the community colleges, which now provide dozens of certificate and degree programs statewide, plus a suite of networking and student support services. Education and training programs run from two-week intensive training "boot camps" to two-year associate degree tracks. Thousands of people have been trained under AMPed NH, with the number of students enrolled in advanced manufacturing programs system wide about 60% higher in 2014 than in 2010. Introducing the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technologies,(CCAT), Headquartered in East Hartford Connecticut, CCAT is a not-for-profit corporation recognized as a leader and a go-to-resource for improving competitiveness of the manufacturing sector (primarily aerospace & defense manufacturers). Our primary purpose is to promote the precision custom manufacturing industry in the region and to provide our members with the services and information that will assist them in the successful operation of their businesses.
The Manufactures Association of Maine, "Maine's Multi-Industry Connection", is a statewide industry association representing manufacturing, corporate, affiliate and student members. Our mission is to work for economic, financial, educational and business prosperity for all members and workers.
The Manufactures Association provides Affinity/Expense Control programs, Business Growth Services, B2B (Business-to-Business) electronic prospect business, Legislative Advocacy, Industry Education support, industry specific projects including Aircraft, Aerospace & Aviation Cluster Development, member advantages, links to all educational institutes, links to business resources and collaboration with state partners and much, much more! The Manufacturers Association has one of the largest scholarship programs in the state.
Housed and administered at the Manufacturers Association is the Maine Metal Products Association Education Fund, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, National Institute for Metalworking Skills Management Center and the Hydrogen Energy Center. Our goal is to work in collaboration on behalf of the business community and the workers of Maine.
