Position: Field Support Technician

Location: Lowell, MA area

Position Summary:

The Field Support Technician will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining well sites, storage tanks, pumping facilities and some treatment equipment. This he/she will also install and repair meters, flush fire hydrants and other related duties in support of a municipal water supply and distribution system. This position requires at least 2 years of experience supporting a municipal water supply on the distribution side of their operation. A Grade 1 Water license is not required but it would be a plus. To be considered for this position, the applicant must has valid driver's license and a good driving record. The rate of pay for this position is between $17 - $21.00/hour with a great benefits package, overtime and on-call pay every 3rd week.




Position: CNC Machinist

Position Summary:

Setup and operation Swiss Type Screw Machines (Citizen) to produce precision parts as per print. The Machinist will also be responsible inspection procedures to verify conformance to print specification. To be considered for this position, you must have at least 1 years of experience working with Swiss Screw Machines. Experience with Tornos and Citizens is a plus. We have 2 positions currently available, one is a day shift position and the other is on the 2nd shift.

Salary: $40,000 DOE.

Southern NH machine shop has an excellent opportunity for mid-level CNC machinist. Ideal candidate will be self motivated and will have 5 or more years experience in CNC machine set up and operations with CNC vertical machining centers as well as CNC horizontal lathes. Extensive experience with Mazak, Fanuc, or Hurco controls desirable. Must be able to interpret blue prints, as well as work from written or verbal instructions. Experience with ANSI Y14.5 M and military standards preferred.
Our shop is a medium size job shop located in Nashua NH. We provide quality machined components to a diverse base of customers. We strive to maintain excellent customer relations through on time deliveries with zero quality defects.


Education Requirements: High School Graduate, with 5 years machining experience minimum. Must be able to read and interpret drawings and job instructions, set-up and inspect jobs.

Mechanical Inspector

As a Mechanical Inspector you will perform first article, in-process and final inspection on milled and turned precision components. Requires working knowledge of hand-held micrometers, pitch micrometers, optical comparator, height gages, and thread measuring gages. Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and possess basic computer skills. Experience in the measurement of geometric tolerancing is required. 1 to 5 years direct experience in a quality related position and GED/High School education also required.

CNC Swiss Screw Machinists - 2ND SHIFT

Responsible for utilizing Citizen Swiss Multi-Axis Lathes in a job shop environment machining both long and short-run jobs. Will operate turning equipment to produce precision components while maintaining quality and efficiency. Programming and set-up experience is a plus. To qualify for this position, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with conventional CNC lathe or similar Swiss machines, CNC Horizontal or Eurotech machines. Knowledge of manufacturing practices and ability to read and interpret blueprints required. GED/High School education required. Conventional and CNC lathe set-up machinists are encouraged to apply.

There are several Machinist positions available on first and second shift. The position requires experience in making a variety of parts to close tolerance using Bridgeports, Lathes and Grinders. Good math, trigonometry background and familiarity with geometric tolerances required. Prior experience in the Microwave field preferred.

CNC Machinist / Operator

We have a position in our CNC area for a Machinist / Operator. The position requires hands-on experience with 3-axis Machining Centers. Must have sufficient programming skills utilizing all Fanus "G" codes and the ability to loop sub programs. Must have the ability to aid in the development, debugging and storing of programs by the programmers.

60 person job shop has an immediate opening for a CNC Lathe Supervisor. This ambitious and energetic individual will be responsible for the direct leadership of up to 14 machinists. Duties include: troubleshooting, coordinating, tooling & programming departments as well as being involved with daily scheduling. A thorough knowledge of modern machine tools, G-Code programming, and supervisory skills are required.


CNC Mill/Lathe Machinist Set up (Day Shift)

This candidate will be responsible for the set up and operation of Milling and Lathe Machines with close tolerances. Must have CNC knowledge, be able to read and interpret blueprints, use precision measuring instruments and have a minimum of 3 years of experience.

    Qualified candidates will be able to safely and efficiently operate Tool Room machinery, as needed, to produce machined components to specifications from prints, sketches or using an existing component as a reference. Must be able to troubleshoot, repair, verify and maintain basic progressive stamping and single operation tooling. This position may require lifting, pulling or pushing up to 100 lbs. Experience is required.


    Press Operator

    Qualified candidates will be able to safely operate manual single stroke and continuous feed stamping presses. Task include manually loading parts on and off the press, operating OBI, gap frame and C-frame presses to standard production requirements, keep accurate records of production information, packaging finished goods and maintaining proper housekeeping. This position may require lifting, pulling or pushing up to 100 lbs. Experience is preferred.
